The technical team of AEDIS has visited today the facilities of the Integral Center for Disability that Envera has in the town of Colmenar Viejo, Madrid. The heads of this business organization dedicated to the representation and defense of the rights of entities dedicated to the provision of assistance services and labor integration of people with disabilities, have known the activities carried out in the various lines of business of the Special Employment Center: document management, laundry, handling and recycling solidarity.

Envera launches its 2018 solidarity calendar made jointly with Iberia to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the association dedicated to the comprehensive care of people with disabilities and the 90th anniversary of the airline. The calendar reflects the values of the Iberia company, which are also shared by Envera, and which are those that support a society committed to excellence and equal opportunities, with teamwork, enthusiasm and the desire to excel, where everyone can be the best at something and where everyone counts.

Envera, an organization dedicated to the care of people with intellectual disabilities throughout their lives, has put the finishing touch to the celebration of its 40th anniversary with the exclusive screening of the film "Wonder" at the Palacio de la Prensa cinema in Madrid, thanks to the support of eOne, distributor of the film; Iberia, a company without which Envera would not have come so far or so high; Ferrovial, Madrid Foro Empresarial and Grupoidex.

The Justice and Disability Forum of the General Council of the Judiciary will present its annual awards on Wednesday, November 22, which in this tenth edition went to notary Juan Bolás Alfonso, journalist José Manuel González Huesa, the company DHL Supply Chain and the institution Envera.

Envera, an organization dedicated to the care of people with intellectual disabilities throughout their lives, will put the finishing touch to the celebration of its 40th anniversary with the exclusive screening of the film Wonder, on November 29th at the Palacio de la Prensa cinema in Madrid, thanks to the support of eOne, the film's distributor. The commemoration of these four decades of work and achievements that improve the lives of the most vulnerable has the honorary presidency of Her Majesty Queen Letizia.

People with intellectual disabilities will be able to carry out training practices in dependencies of the Community of Madrid thanks to the agreement signed this Monday by the Regional Ministers of Presidency, Justice and Spokesman of the Regional Government, Ángel Garrido, and of Social Policies and Family, Carlos Izquierdo; and by Envera - Association of Employees of Iberia Parents of People with Disabilities. The purpose of the agreement, which runs until 31 December 2018 with the possibility of extending it up to four more years, is the realization of training practices of people with intellectual disabilities in order to promote their social and labor insertion.

Envera has held for the eighth consecutive year the Solidarity Golf Tournament in order to support the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities. In this edition, the championship was held at the Nuevo Club de Golf de Madrid in Las Matas and was attended by the mayor of Las Rozas, José de la Uz, his councilor of Presidency, Gustavo Adolfo Rico, the general director of Envera, Pedro Sobrino, as well as Iberia and Pedro Núñez Morgades on behalf of Envera's patrons. The sportsmen of the Club Ícaro-Envera had a special role as caddies and collaborating in the organization of the Tournament.

Andrés Rodríguez came to Envera with one goal in mind: to train to get his first job. On the advice of his brother Eduardo, an alumnus of this organization dedicated to the social and occupational integration of people with intellectual disabilities, Andrés joined the Semilla Project, promoted by Envera in Tenerife, as a student. During the 2015-2016 academic year, Andrés and fourteen other classmates, all of them people with disabilities, worked to obtain the two professional certificates to which this training project gives access: Auxiliary Activities in Agriculture and Auxiliary Activities in Gardens, Nurseries and Garden Centers.

Envera has received the visit of professors from various universities in Japan, experts in social welfare and interested in learning about the policies and actions to support people with intellectual disabilities that are carried out in Spain. The general director of Envera, Pedro Sobrino, has received them at the headquarters of the Association in Madrid, where they have been able to learn about the work done by Envera accompanying people with disabilities from birth and throughout their lives, offering comprehensive assistance and becoming a support when it comes to social and labor insertion.
