Madrid | April 23, 2019
On April 22nd we had an inclusive sports meeting of the highest level. We held a basketball game between the Club Deportivo Ícaro and members of the political group Ciudadanos de Colmenar Viejo, Tres Cantos, San Agustín de Guadalix and Madrid, where they measured their forces to unimaginable extremes, where the final minutes were heart-stopping for all attendees. Radio Terrícola was present broadcasting live a sports day where the fight for victory was very close.
Both teams showed an overwhelming physical shape and a competitive spirit that did not go unnoticed by the expert announcer and sports entertainer Antonio Martín "Michael", director of the successful radio program "El Pichichi", on Radio Terrícola, assisted by Amadeo Meler, sports director of Club Ícaro Envera and his entire technical team. Together they managed to make the stands of the Arena Envera Sports Pavilion very enthusiastic, where there was no shortage of tantrums and some animated shouting.
Michael and Amadeo's unbiased and accurate narration lifted the spirits of the home team as far as humanly possible, but the drive of the Ciudadanos team finally ended up with the deserved victory, although they declared, exhausted and surprised, "not to expect such a frontal and devastating clash".
During the celebration of the match, two guests of great political weight passed through our microphones and we got some hopeful words for inclusive sport. Ignacio Aguado, spokesman for the Ciudadanos parliamentary group in the Madrid Assembly and member of the Ciudadanos Executive, and Javier Imbroda, Minister of Education of the Junta de Andalucía and former national basketball coach, were delighted to participate in such a memorable meeting and very pleasantly surprised by the facilities and the sporting work that Envera has been developing for 27 years.

We also have to thank the participation of the rest of the Ciudadanos cheerleaders and players, who together with Aruca Gómez and Gregorio Rodriguez, contributed to create an unparalleled atmosphere.
To the clamor of: LET'S GO... LET'S GO CITIZENS, LET'S GO ENVERA! we bid farewell to this meeting at the summit where we once again demonstrated the drive, tenacity, sportsmanship, strength and so many other values that confirm that WE CAN ALL BE THE BEST AT ANYTHING, today... GIVING IT ALL!!!!
