However, Envera has gone a step further in its social commitment and has donated more than a ton of organic food to the Red Cross thanks to the production made by the students during their training and has made possible the delivery of 1,131 kilograms of vegetables for the food bag of the Acentejo region.
Likewise, the students-workers have participated in the recovery of 7,300 square meters of agricultural land affected by the 2023 fire, cleaned and conditioned a water tank for the use of 640,000 liters and generated 3,700 kilos of compost, favoring the reuse of waste.
On the other hand, within the Certificate of Professionalism in Gardening, work has been done in a total of eight parks and gardens in the municipality of Tacoronte and the students - workers have participated in numerous visits and activities such as Gastrocanarias, Tenerife Environmental Complex, Botanical Garden and Biosphere Conservation Center, Palmetum, Jocama Nurseries, Botany Island Garden and El Montillo Park, among others, with which they have known the reality of a sector that is in permanent growth in the Canary Islands.

Many activities have been marked by the "enthusiasm and dedication" of each and every one of the participants, as pointed out by Envera, Iberia's social work, which promotes this type of action every day to improve opportunities for people with disabilities and to occupy their place in the world with dignity.
