- The media celebrates 20 years as a leader in sustainability reporting
- Iberia's Envera airplane, the protagonist of its cover
Madrid | March 14, 2025
Corresponsables has organized its annual conference under the title '20 years of the Corresponsables Yearbook: Learning and challenges for leading sustainability', with a major event at IESE's headquarters in Madrid in which more than 30 representatives of stakeholders in the field of sustainability participated and which has been followed by more than 390,000 people in person or via streaming.
The president editor and founder of Corresponsables, its Foundation and ObservaRSE, Marcos González, has given the cover of the Yearbook to different companies and entities as "recognition of the good practices in sustainability" that they develop. In the case of Envera, the Iberia plane that bears its name has been the protagonist of the cover as a symbol of the social work that this NGO has been doing since its foundation in 1977 so that people with disabilities can occupy their place in the world with dignity.
Iberia's social work has enabled Envera to serve 5,000 people with intellectual disabilities and their families each year, provide stable employment for more than 900 professionals with disabilities and have an impact on 11 Sustainable Development Goals of the UN's 2030 Agenda thanks to the support it provides to more than 20 NGOs in Spain and abroad.

In addition, inside its pages you can find information about the Vesta Envera Project, supported by the Moeve Canarias Foundation and BBVA, which trains people with disabilities to recover agricultural land affected by the fires in Tenerife and to make handmade soaps from the ashes to donate them, in turn, to organizations that care for the homeless.
Ramón Jáuregui, recognized as one of the great pioneers in sustainability and CSR at the international level, was in charge of closing the conference, assuring that ESG strategies must continue.
Why should sustainability strategies be pursued?
Because most people want and demand that companies have a commitment to society.
