Madrid City Council and Envera present the first guide with all the local, regional and state resources for people with intellectual disabilities in the city of Madrid.

The delegate of Families, Equality and Social Welfare of the Madrid City Council and the councilman president of the district of Latina have presented today 'Madrid Incluye', the first guide that brings together all the resources available for people with intellectual disabilities in the city of Madrid and has been developed by Envera, a non-profit organization with over 45 years of experience in working for and with people with intellectual disabilities.

Iberia's Strategy and Finance management, headed by its director José Antonio Barrionuevo, held an inclusive day at the Envera Integral Disability Center in Colmenar Viejo (Madrid), where they learned first-hand about the social work of this organization, which was founded 45 years ago at the initiative of airline employees. People with intellectual disabilities from Envera will carry out internships at the Department of Social Policies of the Community of Madrid.

Envera and the Department of Social Policies, Families, Equality and Birth of the Community of Madrid, directed by Concepción Dancausa, have agreed to carry out training practices to promote the employability of people with intellectual disabilities. Thanks to this agreement, Envera students will carry out internships in different areas of the Ministry, which will allow them to improve their curriculum and learn how the public administration works in order to prepare for competitive examinations.
Envera, recognized for its participation in the Disfriendly Relay Madrid Marathon, warms up for a new edition of the event

Ten runners with disabilities will complete, by relays, the 42.195 kilometers of the Madrid Marathon thanks to the initiative promoted by Mapoma and Coca-Cola, which has been presented together with the Madrid City Council at the Vallehermoso Stadium. Envera, as last year when this unique race was held for the first time in the world, participates with its athlete Daniel. In addition, the organization of the Disfriendly Marathon has recognized Envera for its participation.
Envera has trained 90 people with disabilities, 12 of whom have found employment through training and job placement projects.

Corresponsables recognizes Envera's social work and its impact on the CSR of companies

The Corresponsables Foundation has recognized Envera as a 'Corresponsable Organization' at the closing of its Annual Conference in Madrid, held this Tuesday in the auditorium of IESE and which has had more than 630 attendees in person and more than 75,000 streaming views. The president of Corresponsables and of the Observatorio de la Comunicación Responsable presented the award to the CEO of Envera, a social organization that received the award together with other leading companies in their sectors, such as ENAIRE.
