Today, Madrid Foro Empresarial has signed agreements with FAMMA - Cocemfe Madrid (Federation of Associations of People with Physical and Organic Disabilities of the Community of Madrid) and Envera (Association of Iberia Employees Parents of People with Disabilities) to regulate their collaboration in the social and labor inclusion of people with intellectual and physical disabilities through actions aimed at facilitating accessibility to care, functions and services provided by the member companies of Madrid Foro Empresarial, as well as to advance in terms of awareness, for the promotion and social normalization as well as the labor integration of people with intellectual and physical disabilities.

For the seventh consecutive year, Envera has organized a new edition of the Solidarity Golf Tournament, an event that unites sport and solidarity, and which this year took place in two of the Organization's headquarters: Madrid and the Canary Islands. Although at first it was also intended to be held in Malaga, the unfavorable weather forecast forced the event to be suspended.

On the occasion of the commemoration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Envera and the Military Emergency Unit (UME) have presented this Monday the Solidarity Calendar 2017 in an event chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister, Luis Martinez-Sicluna, and that has been held in the auditorium of the Government Delegation in Madrid. In addition to the Subdelegado, during the presentation of the almanac starring people with intellectual disabilities served by Envera throughout their life cycle, have intervened the president of this NGO, José Antonio Quintero; and Lieutenant General Chief of the UME, Miguel Alcañiz. Three students of Secondary Education in Envera have told their experience with the UME during the realization of the Calendar.

For the second consecutive year, students from Envera's Professional Programs and Secondary Education attended the award ceremony of the Justice and Disability Forum Awards, organized by the General Council of the Judiciary. Upon their arrival at the headquarters of the CGPJ, the students were received in the plenary hall by the President of the Supreme Court, Carlos Lesmes, who explained the functions of the Council and the work performed by the judges of the High Court.

Envera Inclusion Point in the Islazul Shopping Center and in the Carrefour Ciudad de la Imagen Shopping Center, a Social Responsibility project pioneer in Europe, will become next Saturday, International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a factory of good wishes and illusions. All those who decide to join this celebration for the rights of people with functional diversity will have the opportunity to write their dream on a circle of colored paper, which will later be displayed together as a flag for equal opportunities on the snowman that will be built for this occasion, with recycled plastic materials, by the boys and girls of the Envera Occupational Center.

A delegation of Envera, formed by 20 athletes and 6 coaches participate from today in the Special Olympics Reus 2016 National Games, which will be held until November 27, and will feature 800 athletes from Spain and 10 European countries, supported by 200 coaches and 400 volunteers. For Envera it is also the finishing touch to the celebration of its XXV Anniversary of work in favor of inclusive sport.

Envera and the Madrid Spina Bifida Association (AMEB) joined forces this Monday on the occasion of National Spina Bifida Day to bring society closer to the reality that people with disabilities live daily through an event that took place at Envera Inclusion Point, a pioneering project in Europe thanks to the Islazul Shopping Center.

This Wednesday the Government Delegate in Madrid, Concepción Dancausa, was received by the President of Envera, José Antonio Quintero, and its General Director, Pedro Sobrino, at the Comprehensive Center for Disability Care that Envera has in the Madrid town of Colmenar Viejo.

A group of students with disabilities, all belonging to the Envera Association, visited the City Hall of San Sebastian de los Reyes. During the morning of this Thursday they have been able to know the facilities and operation of the town hall and the building of El Caserón, which houses the ethnographic museum and whose objects are part of the history of the municipality and its surroundings.
